Wer weiß wo man außer am Tacho noch den tatsächlichen KM-Stand auslesen kann.

Real kms can be read from engine control unit. The kms on tacho and in connect are the same. But the tacho lies about 8% and in engine control unit, there are real kms the car has driven. There are different ways of counting the kms and everyone know that the instrument panel is showing more in actual speed (even when the companies has invested a lot of money in survey how to make it more precise) because it's more safer. Kms on tacho are counted the same way as the actual speed.
Many people that are changing the kms stand don't know that in thesis there's such a great difference and make both quite simillar.

Würde auch gerne die Funktion zum Auslesen des Kilometerstandes nutzen vor allem wegen der
aktuellen Berichterstattung des ADAC zu den Tacho Manipulationen.

Hallo Ullrich,

du drückst am Connect den Knopf TRIP und dann runter scrollen auf Bisherige Daten. Rechten Knopf drücken und du siehst den KM Stand.

Hallo Peltze,
würde diese Angabe auch einer Tachomanipulation stand halten?

As I wrote before, it's the same value than on tacho so when you change the tacho kms, in connect there would be changed too. Also the engine working time can be changed via diagnostics.

As mentioned before you have to check it in engine control unit. But even there it can be changed but than there's a value number of rewrites. But remember, the engine control unit can be also resetted and it starts counting from zero.
If you need it badly I'm driving throug the whole Germany this Sunday so maybe passing you.
