Verbrauchswerte

Moin,
Spritmonitor gibt leider nicht viel her.

I consider 2,0t best for driving in city (lower consumption because of the manual) and 3,2l on the highway (in 130 consumes less than turbo)

Let me her some details.

So, I've been testing the consumption on 1700km in one day driving both cars at same conditions and the same road. Tempomat 130km/h. The consumption showed on 2,0turbo was 8,7 and on 3,2l V6 was 8,5. Tank was filled from full to full and more petrol could always get to the 2,0turbo thesis.
But in the city, the automatic gearbox is a real petrol taker, where when accelerating, on first and second gear (these two gears uses the hydrochanger, the third gear only below 50, than it locks), the actual consumption meter never goes below 20. But when you try to make the best possible, you can still drive below 10 in the city, but it's usually impossible.
Some more questions?

Thank you very much. Okay the 3.0 and the 3.2 are no options because the high consumption. The most Thesis have the 2.4 so i think about to get a 2.4 oder wait for a good 2.0T - where is the difference in the consumption?

The only problem about the 2,0turbo is the turbo so the consumption depends on your driving style because when you have a heavy foot, more air means more fuel (stechiometric rate). It's also another thing that can break down. But it's character is a real story itself. If you like turbocharged engines, this one is outstanding and I'm not quite sure you could find any better.
2,4l seems to me to be good only for a leisure drive, that doesn't meen it doesn't have enough power, but the others has more. Even the tests say that this engine is undervalued so I believe it can be a good choice (only with manual gearbox, cause they are mostly automatic) if you prefer comfort driving style. So you must know what you want and need, my driving style gave me no other choice than take the 3,2l (even if it has automatic

). Not to forgotten to mention, I've installed the last 5th generation LPG with liquid propane injection to lower the km cost. Considering the price of lpg and petrol, I'm driving on highway tempomat 130km/h with the cost like it consumes 4,3l petrol.
