Hi all, I'm new to this forum and the joys? of dedra owning (I have two y10 turbos as well).
My problem is the car never seems to run well.
It started with an inability to start easily when half warm, then it started lurching and stalling when hot! Then it would only run on part throttle (since cured this one a wire snapped going to throttle pot probably from the lurching).
This morning it started not starting from cold at first and when it did start the revs go up and down like a yoyo and stall. If you manage to get the revs upto 7000+ Rpm it cleares then runs OK for a few miles, then plays up again. The car went into the fiat dealer last month onto their diagnostics computer they told me the throttle pot was duff and needed to spend £400 on throttle body (bought body but not at their prices then found broken wire) they said that all other signals from sensors were OK! Just in case I've replaced water sensor anyway as I know these give trouble. The model is a 1992 K reg 1.6ie. Also my interior lights have mind of there own, back one will come on but goes out after 15 secs regardless of door being still open and front only comes on with the button (checked door switches). I hope someone can help as I'm going mad and its meant to be my everyday car and instead i'm using my non soundproofed hillclimb car instead.

I think the engine problems may stem from the fuel pump I took it out and stripped and cleaned it up the other day and noticed someone has adjusted the nylon screw inside on the reverse of the outlet. Does anyone know easy way of setting up output presure on this pump? Or will I have to buy new one with preset factory set!
As for electrics my no.plate light has turned out to be faulty loom between boot and boot lid, but still no luck with interior lights. And now my speedo has packed up as well.

First, the interior light is supposed to light just for 15 sec and then go off, so nothings wrong there.
Speedo problem is common. It could be the motor inside the speedounit or the small printboard connected to this motor. Try getting a used one to eliminate problems. It can also be the pick-up sensor on the gearbox, so you have to check.
To check fuel pressure you will need to put a manometer on the fuel line.
