8v cylinder head

greetings from Ireland
My Cambelt broke and has left me with some bent valves.
I would like to modify the head to improve performance as
part of the repair procedure. Time is not critical as I have a Trevi
to run around in. I recon I have three months to play with.
Any suggestions folks that wont break the bank.
