Dear colleagues,
can anyone kindly advice me on how best to amend a leakage in the power steering pipe (I guess it is copper). I have tried to look for a new one from the spare parts dealer but to no sucess. The bleeding is gradual and sometimes drops on the exhaust pipe to produce fume of smokes. I am in a dying need for advice. If anyone of you happen to have a wreck lancia dedra 1990 model 1.6ie, I would appreciate you kind help.
Thanks

Hi Rex,

What you need is a company who makes hydraulic pipes up for commercial vehicles , tractors, earth moving equipment, Jcb's etc.

I think they would be able to make one quite easily as long as you have the old one as a pattern.

I can't understand why your dealer is unable to supply this part anyway as LHD Dedra was a current model until 1999 so there shouldn't be a problem, here in the
UK some parts are getting a bit short but as the last RHD Dedra was built in 1993-1994 I suppose it is only to be expected.
