Dedra 1.8 16V timing belt R/I

Hi there,

Anyone with info on how to remove and install a timing belt on a 1.8 16V (83 kW, no VVT) engine? Mine is due and I would very muck appreciate some tips on markings, rigging pins, what to remove to get access, etc. Thanks in advance,

Hi there,

Sorry i cannot help you with your problem - but would appreciate it if you could tell me when a replacement for a timing belt is due. I have a 1990 Dedra 1.8 i.e with 112000 miles on the clock, and to my knowledge the belt has never been changed. How do i find out such information?
