Dedra Reat Screen Rubber
Posted: 16 Oct 2001, 00:11
Hello all,
I noticed the other day that the "chrome" trim that goes around the rear window on my '91 car was missing. Further to that the rubber trim had snapped leaving a nice gap in which lots of water can enter.
My question is this; can the rubber be replaced easily? In particular I am unsure whether it is glued in place. Chris at "Betacar" believes it is but I'm not certain and neither was he. I don't want to just rip it out if it means the rear window has to be removed to fit a new one. If need be I may just glue the rubber back together using some strong adhesive like "sikulflex" or something.
If anyone have some advice on this I'd appreciate thei comments.
Thanks,
Gary
