Hi all,
I'm due for an oil change pretty soon. and I wanted to ask for advice on the oil type.
The previus owner of my car used only Castrol 15w40 and I now have Esso Diesel 10w40.
Should I stick with the 10w40 grade, considering that the turbocharger is better lubricated with semi synth oil ? Or should I use 15w40 and reduce oil burning
My car has ~200.000 kms and it burns some oil ~300ml/1000 km.
I'm also considering adding Duralube at this oil change .

Any advice?

hi, i am a owner of lancia prisma 1.9D and i am using the best oil for it-shell diesel special-in yellow bottle. I will never use any different type of oil.
