2013 - 50 years Fulvia: The Fulvia Knights Rally.

The concept: an informal, not perfectly organized, free flow Rally towards Torino in 2013.

To quote Daniel Pottier: “It is really the original idea of a RALLY in the middle-ages, knights gathering in a place to pay their respect or go to war .”

Can you picture it in your mind?

Fulvia’s gathering from all over Europe. Small streams converge and turn into a big river.

Shall we start with the following idea:

The focus is on Fulvia but anybody with a reasonably contemporary or older Lancia is welcome.

Fulvisti leave from Scandinavia, Germany, UK, Benelux and meet in northern France.

The flow continues in increases through France to the Col de Turini, crosses the border into Italy and continues to Torino or any other place in Italy where “gravity” directs the flow.

Volunteers prepare the route for the various stages. They also provide a list of hotels and restaurants for lunch as well as dinner. Lancisti make their own reservations. Everybody pays for him/herself. Everybody can join or leave whenever they like. If a section is not prepared, we all get lost and meet again at the start of the next section.

Arrival in Torino: sept 7 (or 14?) 2013 Departures: depending on the number of stages

Example FOR SOME:
1st stop in France: Hotel le Tulipier in Vienne le Chateau (between Verdun and Chalons en Champagne
2nd stop Bourg en Bresse
3rd stop Barecelonnette
4th stop Cuneo
5th stop Torino. Or somewhere else? Where exactly is the Via Fulvia?

WE (Team Magic) ATTENDED -in a different-driver-formation - THE TORINO GAMMA MEGA-MEET 2009; WHICH WAS EXCELLENTLY ORGANIZED BY GAMMISTI FROM UK; NL; BE; USA (me); DE; NORD COUNTRIES & BY "GAMMA-REGISTER" MEMBERS IN ITALY; THE 'LOCAL-MATADORS' so to speak; who did "In Italy" PLANNING; WHICH COULD NEVER HAVE BEEN DONE BY ANYONE ELSE THAN THEM !!! BRAVO !!!

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE A "FULVIA 50 EVENT" IN THE WORKS BEING PLANNED BY LANCIA CLUB ITALIA or BY ITALO FULVISTI TO CELEBRATE THE BIG 50 !
