Lancia Delta 1.6 HPE 1998

I want to export my Lancia to the US. Does anyone know if it meets US bumper and emission standards? If not, where can I take it to have it upgrades so that I can export it to the US? Is there any sources I can check to find the information I need?

John,
as another owner of a nuova delta, but in the UK, and a designer for a US owned car company,I would suggest this is a challenge.I do however know of an ex colleague who has moved to California with his Elise.He changed the engine for a Honda unit I believe but I wonder how he got bumpers to comply?
I will try to contact him to find what the regulations are......
