Sorry, GI/V (GI/F is not valid product number)

So, Selenia site say about GI/V:
"Synthetic-based lubricant specifically for automatic 5-gear transmissions. Specific formulation to warrant perfect lubrication also with controlled slip torque converter. Excellent viscosimetric stability. Specific for automatic new generation Fiat 5 gear-transmissions."

Somewhere I read GI/E is officially Dex III but knows much more. I try to find.

Selenia site say GI/E is recomended for Thesis except 3.2V6.

What is the truth? What is the oil which came with transmission from factory? Factory fitted oil is Selenia? Or specific oil from AISIN?

The answer for me is simple. Who knows better which oil is the right one, selenia or lancia? The info you have to use GI/V is also in thesis manual.
Consider we don't know the truth, but there are some facts. JWS 3309 is better, if we use this oil with transmission that needs dextron III, there's nothing to loose, but if we use dextron III in transmission that needs JWS 3309, we can really brake it.

In my original Alfa Spider manual the transmission oil is described wrong. (as i remember ZC80)
The right oil is ZC75 which is very different! (The transmission like the new one after oil change)

Well, I don't know who tell the truth. AlfaLanciaFiat or Selenia. :)

But in this case I think too GI/V is better for all Thesis. But I'm not sure.

We have to ask AISIN directly. :) :)

Or your information is directly from Lancia, or from any Lancia garage / manual?

Service manual says JWS 3309, lancia dealership in Brno says the same, the best transmission serviceshop in Slovakia says the same again. And after I was trying to find out the differences, I know that the right choice is not dextron III. If you know the principle of oil gearbox you know that better choice is JWS 3309 because dextron is much more thick.

Yes, it's clear, and as I mentioned I also think GI/V is better choice for AISIN.

But: Some says Selenia GI/E has better performance than DEX III.
The specification say it's DEX III because cannot reach JWS 3309. But much better than DEX III.
This is why I'm not 100% sure, and Selenia site also say GI/E, etc.

Finally I'll change my gearbox oil from GI/E to GI/V because gearbox not works porperly, and maybe GI/E is the reason.
We'll see.

Do You have information about oil flush procedure?
How can I do that by myself?

I prefer serviceshop to change transmission oil, because the procedure seems to be with some difficulties and I'm not able to check the right level of the oil in my garage. The other problem is that you have to use 3bar pressure in airpipe to push out oil from the hydrochanger, because if not, one third of oil will stay in the gearbox. If you are still interested in the procedure manual, let me know.

Hallo,

ich wollte noch mal eine kurze Info zu meinem Autom. Getriebe abgeben.
Alle Probleme beseitigt! Kein Rucken mehr. Butterweiches schalten.

Die Spülung hat sehr viel gebracht. Dannach habe ich noch mal Feinjustiert.

Alle die ein Rucken haben, haben entweder zuviel oder zuwenig Getriebeöl im Getriebe.
Nach optimalen Justieren am besten im kalten Zustand ( auf dem Meßstab 35 Grad Öltem. 1 Strich) ist das Rucken weg.
