Hi!
Yesterday I changed both kapacitators, with no difference. Could you please explain wherecan i find cables from the ECU to Skyhook.

Thank you!

Marcel

I good starting point would be to measure the resistance of the coils in the 4 suspensions. They should have a rating of 2.1 Ohm. If you measure the resistance from the connector which goes into the skyhook control unit you are sure that both cables and coils are OK.
I had the pinout of the connector but lost it somehow. If you need it you may ask here in the forum....

The easiest way is to connect it on a diagnostics software, it shows everything. But you can also measure it manually, here's the pinout:

Operational Description
The controlled suspension control unit M046 is supplied by the line controlled by the ignition (INT) vprotected by fuse F49 of the junction unit under the dashboard B002.

The control unit is connected by a series of sensors to the following functions:

by pins 11 and 16, respectively, for the supply and earth and by pin 37 for the left front vertical acceleration sensor on the bodyshell K006;

by pins 9 and 15 and by pin 36 to the right front vertical acceleration sensor on the bodyshell K007;

by pins 12 and 17 and by pin 35 to the left front vertical acceleration sensor on the bodyshell K008;

by pins 10 and 20 and by pin 34 to the right front vertical acceleration sensor on the bodyshell K009;

by pins 13 and 18 and by pin 39 to the lateral acceleration sensor K011;

by pins 14 and 19 and by pin 38 to the rear vertical acceleration sensor on the bodyshell K012. According to the signals received from the above mentioned sensors and the speedometer signal received at pin 31 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 28 of connector B), the controlled suspension control unit M046 determines the adjustment of the suspension by means of special actuators:

from pin 30 of the brake pedal switch I030.

According to the signals received from the above mentioned sensors and the speedometer signal received from pin 31 of the Body Computer M001 (pin 28 of connector B), the controlled suspension control unit M046 determines the adjustment of the suspension by means of special actuators:

by pins 5 and 25 to the right front actuator N096;

by pins 4 and 24 to the left front actuator N097;

by pins 3 and 23 to the right rear actuator N098;

by pins 2 and 22 to the left rear actuator N099;

The braking system control unit M051, supplied by the line from the battery protected by fuse F02 of the engine compartment junction unit B001, transmits the speedometer signal from pin 16 to the Body Computer M001 (pin 7 of connector A).

It is possible to show a device failure message on the display by means of a special signal transmitted from pin 6 of the controlled suspension control unit M046 to the instrument panel M050 (pin 8 of connector A).

hey guys!

I wanted to refresh this thread and also wanted to ask the situation of your current skyhook feeling.

I also think, that in my case after a reset of the electric system with battery power off, the skyhook is working a while.
But then system goes hard again after some kilometers. I haven't found a theory for this.

But now I think i can exclude all mechanic problems except (shock absorber)
Because today i finished changing springs (spring break all sides!! last wind)
I also changed 2 control arms front top back on left and right side (They was damaged a little bit)

Do anyone think, that a spring break (minimal) can make the skyhook not working fine?
Can the pressure influence the system, I have got about 2,1bar now with 2,4bar i also thing i got better.

At the moment i think that everything is working fine again, i hope this will continue, other ways I don't know what to change.

greetings

The pressure can influence the system. The more pressure the more accurate the system can work and the better feeling you have. Those who changed 16 rims for 18 ones know what I mean. If the system is working after the startup and than stops, use a diagnostics software. There's something wrong, on one thesis, one broken accelerometer caused this.

Have you got a software for this for the pc and i can check this with a usb cable eobdII?
I have FiatEcuScan running, but no skyhook in there.

do you mean the sonsors on the wheels or the sensors on the shockabsorbers?
they are quite expensive for change ~165€/piece

I'm not sure I know which one you consider as on wheel and which on shockabsorber, There are some on the suspension and some exactly in the car. I have a software, but I'm afraid you should have it made by someone, maybe the dealership, because you need to make also some modifications so you can connect on the skyhook. Or come to visit me :)

Hi Raphi,
my Skyhook System is working great! I remind a very comfortable Drive with this car when i compare it with other premium cars!
Never drive better before!

Hallo Raphi,

Martin

Hi raphi,
did you check the capacitors inside the Skyhook control unit? See my entry in this thread: Skyhook Problem gelöst

What you describe sounds exactly what I experienced and solved with the capacitor replacement.
