I'm not sure about the RAL9001 thing... for the steel wheels....

I did my S2 berlina - pictures:

Mine were done in the RAL9001 and a couple of months ago the berlina stood next to an other Fulvia S1.

Mine were more white-ish than the coupé's wheels.

So, I'm not sure RAL 9001 is the correct color.

But, hey, they look superb in the RAL9001 combo!

Hey, it Fri. night; Olympic-news review of the day is done; so its "FULVIA-TIME" !

I could bore you all by reporting that my 72 "Z" has just returned from its yearly (voluntary) pollution- test"; before which some adjustments & tweeks were done (nothin major, nothin expensive); so it no longer belches blu-smoke & poppoppops at traffic lights. In fact, no smoke at all; Inside or Outside ! Yipppeee...

Should a Fulvia be driven behind my Z on the Benelux Tour, that car's crew will not be forced to wear gas-masks (military nomenclature: field protective mask) & will not need a seeing-eye-dog, wearing a gas mask, to stay on the route.

if you wish to see a finefinefine white Fulvia with (non-matching) crema-painted wheels........no doubt the original color scheme.
Is the the combination of white & creme nice ?????????????????????? Hmmmmmmmmmm..........
I would have gone for a match of white on white, but, what do I know ?

By the way..a definite-benefit of white or creme wheels is "they need to be washed (& waxed?) alot" !!

Why a 67 Fulvia was displayed at the 2006 Geneva Motor-Show ?

I don't know, but it probably was the "STAR" of the Show !!!

Your last question first: the white fulvia with cream wheels was probably featured at Geneva 2006 due to the Lancia Centenary, yes?

I'll need to look at the picture you pointed us to on something other than my laptop screen to decide if the colors are far enough apart to look okay.

And your point about needed to wash light color wheels is a good one.

Does anyone have the proper RAI or DuPont color code for disc brake dust?

However, let us not don't forget, in Italy "the land of miracles!", anything is possible (smile) !!!!

This weekend, while spending some times with some "old-car old-friends" I was told that lots of old not-worth -rebuilding- cars are now being rebuilt in Poland at a fraction of the price of doing such work elsewhere % are being returned back to the west "looking-perfect"....including some that are being sold (around the world) for some very serious money, No one knew how good the work actually is, but the predominate feeling was that it was quite good.

Back to the blue Fulvia...I did wonder why the owner put such nice .non-original on a S1" light-metal.wheels on the car instead of painfully-restorating the original steel-wheels & keeping the car original.

I also wondered how he got the $ spent to revive "a non-rolling-wreck"into a "thing of beauty" past his wife ?

Would very much like to get several names and addresses of Polish firms doing good work! My own restorations slowed to a crawl. Even with dollar v. euro factor, maybe better deal.

One of the fun weird things about Lancia in the 1960s is that their VERY expensive cars came with wheels of any color you wanted so long as that color was cream and the front of the interior came with a nice set of industrial, water-trapping rubber mats. I distinctly remember crinkling my nose and going "no way!" and I was guilty of painting some wheels silver. But eventually I recognized that these quirks are part of the anti-cool elan of Lancias. I have a white Flaminia convertible with cream wheels. They look fine.
