Is that the fire truck red and blue or do you have another aswell as all the Gammas?

I have been using my 1.3S as a daily driver over the last two weeks in this Indian summer we have been having in the UK. Yesterday I marked Autumn by putting the hard top on my normal daily driver (MX5) and washed the 1.3S. Sorry guys but this seems to have beckoned Ardennes weather and it hasnt stopped raining and is 10 degrees cooler. These cars really enjoy being used although I need to do something about second gear sychro (tried everything apart from a rebuild) as am less than impressed with going 1st to third all the time!

LuLu, sorry, I forgot ...
counting the pilot/copilot names on the door - white sticker frames & the blue butt,...our Z is truly a patriotic redwhiteanblue flag-wavers flag ...
& yes, I too wrote too early about the sun too early too.....it also started raining in Heidelberg this PM, but I had an "go in Van- Appointment" this evening; so the rwb flag waver flag Z went in the warehouse, at least until tomorrow....when there is a local Italia-Evening to attend !!!

LuLu, you may wanna try my shift-trick... 1st gear / release clutch & pull away, shift to 3d / don't release clutch; shift gently to down 2d / release clutch, accelerate, shift to 3d an-so-on (by this time all the Fiat 500s are miles ahead, but who cares !!

For some reason, 2 others who've driven the rwb flag havn't noticed that "irritating little almost imperceptible gear snicksnick sorta-catching", between 1st & 2d; but I always do. Last time I was able to overcome it was last yr in Be/Fr, 2d day of hard-driving...which proves "old cars need 2b driven"; old drivers 2.

Lancia in-Haus: 1Fulvy, 1Y, 2Gammy that R driven & 1 that isn't & n'er will be ergain + (of course) 1 much-loved Zitron Ami8.. Recent Ami event: A Nay-Bore drove his 1day old MB S, into the side of the Ami. He, of 85 yrs(!) drove a shorter MB E until 1day previous. The Ami will returns from body&paint shop this week; with a repaired, improved, painted, left side...which is OK with us, since new steel will replace now-removed fiberglass-filled "rough-spots". :)

Alls Well that Ends Well B) & thk hvns it didn't happen to our much beloved Z.

I found this, wrote from Huib 27.Okt.2002 :

"You have the jackpot! A 1967 Zagato, my favourite year, the best year of the Fulvia, with a 1.3HF engine.
Please, restore to 100% new and original condition or the Fulvia mob will be after you! Just kidding of course, but it is the duty of a gentleman to keep this car for posterity. "

I don´t have the HF engine but an 1967 Zagato with Alu-body, not so bad i think.

By the way thanks for all the reply.

One advice about the values of fulvia in general:

It´s our mistake to sell this car´s for low level values. We must be more confident in this car
particular we have the good once.
Try to find good car´s and you all know all what happend.

Caro Tutti,
just for "grins & giggles" I've been following ebay.it - article number: 160365388156 - Fulvia S1 Z 1.3 - from www.epocacar.it . The bidding stalled, big time...at a vry low price, vry early on ?
I've, of-course, not seen it, since Naples-Italia isn't close to Walldorf -Germany & I've no excuse to go there..

If I didn't have a gaggle of old Lancia (+) perhaps I'd have to discover an excuse....after all, it is only a 24 hour drive (with good-fortune & no traffic-monsters); 48+ hours if pulling a trailer.

I'd not attempt to act on this offer without the presence of a super Fulvia Specialisti anyway !!

NOTE: last week 2 inrsting cars popped up on ebay.uk. Both seemed to be too good to be true...price & condition-wise (disassembled before recent paint, lots of new parts...exhaust, brakes etc)..
I quickly contacted the seller; who had just sold 1 of the cars & immediately removed it from ebay.
A Lancia friend, who knows this particular model well & has a "do everything car-shop" is going "a few miles up the road" to view the 2d car today...so I may have to discover some excuse for some "upcoming-travel" in the next days !! More details will follow, if there are more details to report !
PS: it is red ! it isn't a fulvia ! nor a Gamma ! It has 4 doors ! ;)

Hi Gamma,

i know this car because i was in contact with the owner some month ago.
Three time the car was on Ebay.it --> not sold.
Undepent from the worse condition ( I have seen it later on add. pictures )
I was interrested to buy a car with Alubody. I asked him and he said to my italian
colleague on the phone it is one complett in alu.

I received some pictures and something should be strange. Corrosion on an alu wing :S
I asked him to send me the chassis nr. ..... He did ! --> Result -->
The number was higher than the last number of the produced Alu Zagatos.

It was a Zagato with Alu doors, boot and hood. !!

Any questions ? Don´t drive to Naples to see this car. Not therefore.

regards Andreas
