And I suppose it depends on what you consider a 'cross-over'. Chris' last post said that the owner of the car in question gave him a chassis number belonging to a 1.2 (presumably 818.132/133). And, as you point out, a 'real' alloy 1.3 would be 818.332/333. A 1.3 in an 818.132 chassis wouldn't be correct and original irrespective of the gearbox. But couple it with a 5-speed, and it's a transplant--not a cross-over.

Sorry for the confusion with the term 'cross-over' I meant a genuine series 1 Sport Rallye 1,3 with an all alloy body (even the grille and headlamp surrounds being made out of alloy) which I understand most people (including myself until recently) reckon was only produced with the 1200 ccm engine. Being a 1st series zagato indeed with the 4-speed gearbox.

No problem; I was as confused as you regarding the all-alloy 1.3 Fulvia Sport. Fortunately, Randy Adams checked Weerninck and straightened things out.
