Hello Charles

you are right The last update was a long time ago. The project is still in progress.
And if somebody is able to give me an good advice how i can accelerate this fu...ing
painter man ...?tt?
They said yes i will do this job in the middle of last year. They pick up the car in december
and now i have may be to wait until ..i don´t know how long.

Maybe the thinner that they use is the problem. I suppose they ( the painter ) breathe in to much of it. ;)
Cross the fingers that this will find an end soon.

As soon as i will get back the car i will update the posting

best regards

Andreas.

Nice competizione look with the arches and all. I can imagine your hands are twitching to build it up. Good luck with the painter and hope to see updates soon.

Cheers,

But what color will it be??? And will you like it?

(Your work has been an inspiration to me, but I seem to have overtaken you as I have my car back in the garage after painting and am now assembling all parts back together)

Hi Bart,

But what color will it be??? And will you like it?

You are joking. Color ? We are talking about preparation to be able to paint the car.
I suppose this is a decision for chrismas 2013.

But to be serious about the color, i am still not sure what to do.
I believe Amaranto Montebello is the best and white can be the second option.

Nice to hear that this is a result on the posting. And fore sure you have overtaken me. But no problem that was
no managment advice from a team pricipal ( best wishes to Red Bull and Mercedes ;) )
Send some pic. and your color decision.

Regards Andreas

I bought a new dash from Kevin Rosser ( k.rosser.genalguacil@gmail .com) Mine is in sapele but I believe he does walnut as well. The standard of workmanship is excellent. He is in Spain but will send anywhere-even the packaging is a work of art.

geepers, it is almost august & I have not read posts on this "subject" since long before the flood (bible-flood).

I pushed my Z into a corner of warehouse in early winter 2012 & then drove it only 2x during winter on sunny days . until 1 day in Mar 2013 it decided to not start, We towed it to the top of a gentle slope to roll down & pop-start in 2 or 3d gear. No start occured, so back in the corner it went. Today, in the the warehouse I wahed it; polished it, loaded it onto a trailer, then dropped it off at Lancia Renck in Speyer, where Michel will determine (he promised) wat is wat.

Michel just had the "old-car" special road-inspection done on my silver Gamma Cpe, including a promise to replace the not so bad to throw away now4-2-1 pipe; a new 4-2-1 pipe was sourced in Ital & is soon to be enroute. I can't legally drive the Gam until the promise has been fulfilled. That Gam can then share special "old-car" interchangable number plates with the Fulvy Z & 2d (Gold) Gamma; which is running fine.

On the same trailer that transported the Z to Speyer, the "do not drive this car" kC was picked-up yesterday from a Lancia shop 200km south from my home. The Shop-Meister had checked to determine why the oil-light came on / clicking sound occured at idle, only 200km into the kC's 1st drive. This occured approx 6 weeks ago; several days after my purchasing the car "with a written guarantee of faultlessness". It was delivered from the sellers home, 200km to the north, on a trailer. I could not pick it up earlier, for legal-technical reasons. The Meister told me "it is making a funny noise; I will not tackle this challenge; come & get it & take it somewhere else !!!"

The motor will perhaps be removed / disassembled "under the eyes of a neutral-assessor"; the damage will be determined & reported to 2 laywers. I am certain that: there is no doubt that it will be settled quickly or end up being a long court-case.

Such is Life
