Peter,
You're quite right; I should have made it clear I was speaking only of street tires. It may well be that 13" is the preferred size for racing, but it's a different matter for street tires.
And I do like the 6 x 13 Campagnolos; I have a set of five that I'd run if I could find center caps (anyone have some spares they'd sell?). The magnesium 6 x 13 Cromodoras are actually slightly lighter, but the +/-0.5kg difference doesn't matter on my street car, so I'd rather run the Campys for the looks.

Anyone know how much any of these wheels weigh - originals and remakes?

I have no idea of the weights of the remakes, but the S1 HF wheels, whether Cromodoras or Campys, are magnesium/aluminum alloy, and the S2 wheels are aluminum. According to the vanzetti site, the weights of the original wheels are as follows:
Cromodora 6J x 13 (HF S1): 3.75 Kg
Campagnolo 6J x 13 (HF S1): 4.2 Kg
Cromodora 6J x 14 (HF S2): 4.5 Kg
But it's always somewhat misleading to compare weights of different diameter wheels, without taking into account the overall unsprung weight, given the difference in weight between different tire profiles. If fitted to the same car, a larger diameter (heavier) wheel would take a lower-profile (lighter) tire, and therefore the heavier wheel might actually result in a lower overall unsprung weight. My earlier statement about saving about 0.5 Kg had to do with a straight comparison between my 6J x 13 Cromodoras and my same size Campagnolos.

There are still plenty of tires in 13" in Europe. 185/70R13 by Toyo are common and for racing the Yokohama AO48s are superb. Also available is 205/60R13. Lots of non S1 1.6HF cars have 13 inch wheels over here. Even S2 cars have them for competition as Peter de Wit says. Have a look at the 1300 S2 used by Greek rally drivers or the recently sold 1600HF S2 (white) that was in Spain with 13"x8J rims.

Again, I was speaking of street tires in the correct sizes, so as not to change the effective gearing. We can find 185/70-13 and some 205/70-13 over here, too, but 205 is too wide for street use on a Fulvia IMHO, and they're both a smaller overall diameter than a 175/80-13. And, of course, fewer and fewer 13" street tires will be produced in coming years; there's already far less demand than there used to be.

Ed,
Stupid of me to focus on rally tires. You are right about street tires. They will vanish of course. Maybe the Tata Nano runs 13in wheels... But it seems bigger is better in the eyes of the manufacturers (opposite is true IMO).
I would LOVE to make an offer for your Campagnolos. And I believe I have 3 center caps (for sure not 4). Shall I look these up and photograph. Those would be for sale since you are not going to sell your wheels......
Regards, Peter
