has work been done on front frame / subframe or crap-wings (fenders) ?

Zag-John v. NL told me about difficulty of exposing the frame behind rear-section of front-fender; he had major work done in his lovely red S1 -by Huib- since his Z was starting to crease' r & l.
OH NO is what he said...I am sure !!

I was shaking by the time he finished describing the 'procedure'; I vowed never to drive in rain again !

I congratulate a brave effort.
I am so happy that another Spada Z will survive !!

Speaking for myself, I would've had a finance&nerve-breakdance, just thinking about such a project ! I've been there too many times, I remember well...but not with Italian Steel

R U doing everything ,,, hand-manufacturing required panel, cap, plates etc yourself? in a professional metal cutting, bending, welding shop ?

I ask because I'm trying (horrors) to calculate what such a major task could cost... time,blood&muney; knowing that such a calculation can't really be done...in $&cents, blood or any other measurement, but can only be undertaken as a:
a) day&nite hobby b) labor of love c) hampassable-challenge d) long-term bout o' totally incurable insanity....
all of which I totally understand:)
I have a Gam Cpe associate who is doing something similar in Lux; poor-boy:D

how good is the rest of the car ? body, steering, suspension, drive-train, gas tank, interior etc
not that it really matters, what country are you doing this ?

keep on posting the amazing photos, knowing that u've the full moral-support of many Fulvisti, not only Z'isti, around the world !!

We also root for (I hope the term "root for" is known outside USA as having nothing to do with tree / plant roots, nor with Root-Beer ! B)) Monte Carlo - DE, whose project seems to maybe be even more of a challenge ?

I try to give some answers about your Questions.

At the moment I am doing all by myself. The only doubt i have is about the Alu Skin.
But i will see how it work´s.
The only sheet of metall i have bought are the front bottem panels.
The rest i have done in a small room ( Can not call it workshop ) that sometimes makes me crazy.

The car is in the small garage as seen near the house and the spare parts store in normal room ( inside the house )
I love my wife no problem until today ( with the spare parts and my wife )

I am living in a town near cologne.

About the cost i can´t tell you not so much. I suppose only to build the body up you need 20 000 € +
if a shop will do that. I need only time and some money for the sheets of metall.

It´s my third car after a 1,3s Zag from 72 and a Fulvia Coupe Monte Carlo from 72 that i am restoring now.

And i have to say that this 67 zag is the biggest challenge of this 3 cars

Thanks Tim,

the car was driven this year on normal road´s on sunny day´s and is now prepared for the winter.
No problem at all until today. It´s run very nice and after we ( my son ) install
the 42er Solex it makes you to be scared shitless. That means now it is like it should be.

My HF with 42's dont scare me shitless. What I am scared of is shit going into the engine. Thats why my open trumpets have PiperCross socks on!!!
