Hello Lucas - well, thank you for your inspiring email.
If fuel-prices continue to rise & it continues to rain as it has been, I will trade all of my cars for sail boats, I would sell the "Z" ....unless Claire promises to be my " inspiration" again - in 2008- in myFulvia & in hers in 2009, 2010 etc, the good Lord willing.

I don't understand what you mean : " tomorrow in-between Fulvia trip. Will we see you too?"
Please explain............

If you are referring to a Fulvia Event that is further away than 20 miles, I am staying in bed. I've got a office full of Holland-Guys arriving on Sunday, so tomorrow I've got to conserve my energy !!!

Note: 3 Christmas's ago I could have bought what was described as being a wonderful Fulvia Coupe....i
It was located less than 40km away..... The owner was desperate to sell it...for several good-reasons.
I didn't even go to look at it, although I was tempted to. I was simply to tired during the holidays to undertake anything requiring effort. And I didn't want to bother any of my "Old-Car-Expert-Friends" during the Holidays. Then Jan came I decided to forget about it & get back to business.

He, the ex-owner, later told me that I was the only person who called during the entire month of December, although it was listed 'everywhere' in German-Internet.
It wasn't the right time of year to be selling a "summer-car",
He also told me, when I met him by chance at a Lancia Club Meeting that he finally sold it -to another Club mamber -many months later & for a lot more money.
Of course, now - with the wisdom of hindsight - I wish I went to look at it..since that opportunity will never arise again....but what would I have done with another Lancia ? My newest Lancia is now over 10 years old .& the last open space in the Garage is reserved for it. Would I park our little-Baby outside to make room for a Fulvia !! Or spend a lot of money renting a garage to park it in & then driving it - maybe -
10 x a year ! So maybe I should be happy that I stayed home, near the fire...overeating & drinking & catching up on lost sleep.

explanation / correction to my late night rambling of yesterday:
I wrote "Would I park our little-Baby outside to make room for a Fulvia !!
The little-Baby is our only legally-registered, daily use, family-car", a "no-frills base-model automatic Lancia Y", that likes to eat head gaskets It has a reserved place in the garage

The "it" referred to 2x above would have been the white Fulvia Coupe that I didn't go to look at., had I gone to look at it (with "expert-friends" in tow) & actually bought it.

I've already had to evict my daily driver from the garage to make room for my Fulvia. My wife likes it though, since the Fulvia is MUCH smaller than my Audi S8 was and provides lots more "elbow room" for her car on the other side of the garage.

I've since sold the Audi and I'm driving a Ford SUV - boring... At least I don't feel so bad leaving it out in the Texas ice and sun. This is a temporary condition; my wife got the new car when I sold the S8 and I am now driving her old SUV for a while. Eventually I'll be back into something a little more "joyful" to drive on a regular basis. For the time being, I'm inspired to drive my Fulvia coupe more often!

Good luck finding (or not finding) a buyer for your Z!!!
