....so who was he then? a Fulvia owner perhaps?

I'd prefer to think it was some kind of Aureila Spider.

Well, a little more seriously now.... i think it might be a little more than just handbagging.

The people over at that 'other Lancia' forum want to break away from the LMC and start their own club. I think it its a sad day fro all Lancia owners - including us - when the club is broken up.

And if they want to do it...well why shouldn't we? Its our club and we should have a say. Or at least be told whats going on.

I'm going to go over to the LMC site to see whats happening ove there. Apprently the was an emergency AGM recently.

....Moses didn't get to the promised land at all. He died on Mount Sinai before they got the promised land. So you might be right - as always Huib

ps
you don't have to worry about mis information you give or any subsequent legal proceeding that might not happen and your role as moderator here to any biblical references that you make that could be wrong!

Sounds like not much different than any other Lancia congregation, for instance either in the Netherlands, or France, where this year an AGM ended at the police station after two rival factions started to use crowbars against each other (so I've been told anyway). Lancista, weird people.. they must have been affected by the hot latin temperament through the fumes of their italian engines.

Ha ha! CROWBARS?

Lancisti should never own such things - Harry Manning even disapproved of hammers!

Reminds me of those dreadful scenes the other day in some South American country where the politicians were wrestling on the floor.

For politicians I recommend wrestling. Anything that reduces their numbers.

I like hammers. It is an art working with them

Agreed about the politicians...

As for the hammers, I suppose in respect of Harry's memory I should be more specific.

If anyone was working on a car, especially an engine, and hammering began, Harry would yell, "Stop! What are you hammering?"

It has to be said that from what I saw he was usually correct...

I agree on the engines.

Today I took some CVJ's off the drives shafts. Careful massage with a 2kg hammer does it nicely. My technique improved over the years from an uncontrolled hammering to transfering a minimum of kinetic energy in the right spot in the right direction. It is nice.

Since this topic is running all over the place, Huib's comment above, "It is nice." Reminds me of Borat's oft used, "It is very nice....". A funny movie in a thoroughly offensive way...

Speaking of movies, and raising the tone somewhat, which Fellini movie had a 1300HF complete with yellow and blue stripes parked in a piazza? I saw it years ago and can't quite remember.

Oh, and another fulvia was up for auction here recently, a series 2 coupe with the english style raised outer lights, like the Fanalone a few weeks ago it failed to sell, despite being a very tidy looking car.
