Sind sie wohl nicht, sie sind auch nicht auf die Idee gekommen ein wenig vom Ruhm der Delta I HF Versionen zu nehmen... Könnte man ja gut ausschlachten... und das was ich immer noch traurig finde... Der DELTA I war (von der CV Leistung und generell) der stärkste Delta.
Delta II kam nicht über 193PS (offiziell mit kleinerem Turbo und kl. Einspritzdüsen, Auspuff etc.) der DELTA III wird ohne manuelles Getriebe kommen in der Topversion.... ich bin gespannt wie sich der "vollelektronische Delta" gegenüber meinen DELTA I und II fahren wird...

First let me give you my Lancia history:

Just bought a white Lancia Delta 1 1.6 ie as a hobby car and in the process of buying a Thema 8.32 in addition to that.

It is interesting to see how all of you are vomiting on the new Delta. But yes, I WILL buy a Lancia DeLTA 3 1.8 200 HP BECAUSE it has got a full automatic gearbox which is very convenient in the current Dutch traffic where I drive 40.000km a year. But like I wrote to l.otti. They might have offered a 6 speed manual for this version too.
I have seen the car ´in the flash´ a few times now and I think it is very close to what a modern Lancia should be. If you take a look at the info sofar, they seem to have put a lot of effort in the suspension which might even satisfy the more sportier of drivers.
(Ofcourse I´m a bit disappointed that they did not give it an original dashboard)
From a marketing point of few probably 75% of all Delta´s will have midrange petrol and diesel engines up to 150hp, which are available with manual gear boxes.
Please don´t get me wrong but what Lancia needs now is buyer for NEW cars.
That is the ONLY way to survive. In my humble opinion the Delta 3 seems like to be doing a good job.

... sure I would like in the Netherlands (like in Switzerland) something to provide me from offical car hate ... and with a drive passion car it is much more comfortable to be in german frisia (east or north) ... even sure there are a lot of things in Belgium and Germany not good, but there is a car-unfriendly mood in The Netherlands what is making me afraid ... or to prefer a boat.

An in relation to automatic gear box in Germany there is something special (even following ZF, who are reporting from german slow approach to automatic gear box) ... but sure because of Diesel with smaller scale of rpm there has grown up the attraction of automatic gear box. (Avec l'essence c'est naturellement different ...).

There is no discussion about the passion of manual control ... some like it and other not - but sure there are different environments too, what are having influences.

And not only the country, but the historical background (of Delta 1) is defining the perception.

ich denke, es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten: Entweder, man akzeptiert die Entscheidung von Lancia, den Wagen so zu positionieren, wie sie's tun, oder man ist eingefleischter Intergrale-Fan ...

Aber man sollte nicht vergessen, dass der Delta bei seinem Erscheinen ein Delta und kein Integrale war. Und man wird anno 2008 mehr Deltas als Intergrale verkaufen

Und dessen ist Lancia sich sehr wohl bewusst

Dass ist Gerade was ich gemeint habe!
Der Integrale war natürlich einmalig (und dass meine ich SEHR positiv). Aber Lancia UND Delta ist/war mehr als nur Integrale.

Lancia hat entschieden seit der Delta II ear die marke zu 'repositionieren; das wurde mit der Thesuis and Lybra vollbracht; die resultaten waren und sind traurig; in Italien verkaufen sich der Y and Musa gut aber im ausland ist Lancia vergessesn worden ausser uns Lancisti; jetzt, wollen sie ein totaler neuer kaueferschicht einfreunden was mit der Lybra nicht gelungen ist...ich bin skeptisch. Ich muss auch bald eintschieden was mit meiner bald 8 Jahre alte Lybra passiert, aber eine Delta III wird es nicht. Ich wered abwarten was die zukinft noch im Italienischen autohimmel zeigen wird; momentan gibst nichts passendes - Nul. - nur im betracht von eine Lybra abloeser...mein Lybra was auch eine komprosmiss loesung, da ich eine benzin Motor mit mehr drehmoment und PS gewunscht hatte...ich habe die muehe gemacht an Fiat Auto dmamals zu schreiben...was mit mein brief passiert ist weis ich nicht da ich nie eine antwort bekommen habe - was ist nicht merkwuerdig dass man ein Fiat Stilo mit 2.4 liter benziner haben koennte aber nicht ein Lybra?
Wo kann ich abwanders aber? Volvo V70? etwas zu gross...Alfa 159? Kofferaum und gewicht, trots abspekprogramm ein witz...bin wirklich ratloss...wenn der Bravo 'Cross' als Lancia erscheint, dass waere ein lichtblick...

....ich versuche meistens die goldene mitte zu finden und frage deshalb :
wieso soll der Delta 3 entweder ein komfortwagen oder ein integrale sein ,
und wieso kann Lancia nicht BEIDE klientel bedienen ???

ein modell kann doch mit 2 bis 3 benzin und dieselmotoren durchaus komfortabel
eingestellt sein und dann gibt es noch die highend "sportversion"....
wenn er sich gut verkauft ueberlegen sie vielleicht an die legaendere version
anzuknuepfen....

Hallo, trotzdem bin ich kein Alter Opa der in einem Vollautomatisierten Auto rumfahren will.. ich will selber Fahren! Und eine Vollautomatik ist für mich und viele andere ein absolutes "No Go- Kriterium"
