Dear Villads,
Reading your previous issue I noticed that the time that the red light did't light was about 3 seconds, right?
That means an all new situation.
Nevertheless, we must eliminate the easiest parts first, so don't get disapointed.
If it is the relay, the light comes red with in a microsecond, it wasn't the case.
So, deconnect the shocks one by one, if the light stays on, do this; - Take all the things you have in the trunk ( heavy things) not the spare tyre!! if you have them, of course. Than, deconnect the minus cable on the battery and wait for some minutes, connect the cable again, see what happens.
If it stays on, a last test can be done, but you will need a second person with you.
Put your friend inside the car and your head in the engine bay in one of the sides, your ear must be very close to the shock, give an order to your friend to turn the ignition on but not the engine, than tell him/her to press the buttons auto/sport, at the same time, you MUST hear a noise coming from the motors inside the shocks. Do this for all the 4 shocks, and you'll get the damaged one(s).
Keep in touch,
P.S. It is because of this moments of "intense connection" with our Italian cars that we get so "inlove" with them...
You would understand, why I can't leave without my Maserati...
Ciao!!
Miguel
