The idea to float Ferrari was going around before Fiat Group's financial troubles.
It was a way to getting some cash for both Ferrari and Fiat SpA while keeping
still the complete control.

Note that the talk about GM buying Fiat, though I also see it as serious, is
from the PRESS, not the companies.
