Thermostat

Unread post by FL30 »

We have developed a thermostat which allows a higher flow than the original Flavia part. (higher nominal diameter and less pressure drop). Fits to the standard connection piece.

For further information please contact me personally.

I have successfully used an after-market, in-hose, thermostat in my Flavia 2000 coupe. It is held in place by an additional radiator clip. Go through a thermostat catalogue at your local spare parts shop and you will find one that suits. I drilled a couple of holes in the thermostat seat to ensure a little flow of water through the thermostat to allow it to sense the water's temperature.
Some thermostats already have these drillings.
Cheers Brian..
