Hi NC, didn't realise you lived so close - be good to see you somewhen - am in Notts.
The car mentioned has special low compression pistons and owner has kept the car original except for removeable mods like this engine.

Any of our dutch friends know more about the 'Vere 2 litre Fulvia engine development.
Am sure this would not be something the purists will want to see repeated...

Sounds like a plan NC - I need to run the Fulvia when there's less salt on the roads though!
I think there is an 1800 V4 in development. Vere Lancia tried some over square 1300 to 1600 engines I believe but not sure of results.
