Re: fuses
Try replacing with any of same rating. It might have failed of old age. If it blows then you are about to discover the joys of tracing faults in an italian car!. Actually the wiring diagram is one of the easier to follow assuming nobody has messed with the original circuits.

Re: fuses
Iain, I have looked on my wiring diagram, 3rd from the left is marked fuse number 7, on the diagram there are three wires two red (one I think is thicker than the other) and one pink, the wiring seems to run to the horns via a solenoid/relay block which is under the wing near the alternator on a bracket on one connection in the fuse box. Do the horns work? They may be shorted out they do draw a fair current from memory, you could disconnect them both under the dash and reconnect one at a time.
There is a plug-in socket under the dash also connected to the same fuse, the feed side appears to a permanent live via the starter motor/battery, thick red lead. You might want to check the connector blocks that they are good condition, not damaged or melted. The pink wire goes to the clock, and onto the door marker lights.
I hope that helps, I have hopefully followed the routing of the cables and colours correctly.
