Flaminia exhaust system

Unread post by Charles »

Hello,

I'm now restauring a touring convertible and need a new exhaust line.

Do you have any idea where I can find it and a price range for that ?

Many thanks !

Hello Charles,

if you do not mind chosing a stainless steel system you may contact P.D. Gough in Nottingham, www.pdgough.com. In January 2008 I paid 584 GBP (net) plus 100 GBP carriage to Germany for my GT 3C exhaust system. Prices will vary due to floating stainless steel rates (should go down at the moment).

You may also "google" -London Stainless steel exhaust centre- or -Quicksilver exhausts-.

Best regards

Hello Hubert,

I forgot to ask you for something : I need some new hub caps for my flaminia conv. because mine are too rusted. Any idea ?

Many thanks for your help, I'm just beginning my collecting parts session... !

Hello Charles,

you do not need to worry about the hub caps. They are available as reproduction parts in Italy. There are a few dealers offering them and you can get them when visiting the vintage car fair in Padua for example (Takes place end of October/November each year). This year the rate was 40 Euro per pc.
I can send you some adresses of Italian spare parts specialists. Apart from this there are quite a number of parts which are available through not Lancia related sources. I recommend to set up contact to other Flaminia owners/restorers. Makes it much easier.

I am currently restoring a Convertibile 2.5 3C and I am remanufacturing the soft top fasteners at the moment.

Best regards

Many thanks for your answer.

I have to check out if I need some new fastener too !

In fact the hub caps are not that rusted but it is the other part (not the center but the exterior circle) which I need to replace,

If you have any address, it could help me a lot !

Best, Charles
