No replacement for the Lybra?

Anybody who know what is going on? What is the latest news on this? Will Lancia stop producing a car in this segment?

Yep, it looks that way. Aparently Fiat think if they continue with the trio of Stilo, 147, & Lybra, it will in some way confuse and overload the market place!? I am personally astonished at this decision, and even more so by the decision not to build the Fulvia which i would have thought might have been a great "halo model" for the rest of the range. Sadly i don't think Fiat has much faith in Lancia.

There are rumours of a Lybra replacement called Medea, announced for 2005. Let's all hope the rumour becomes reality. I don't think Lancia can survive with an incomplete model range. The best they could do for the marque would be to replace the Lybra with a slightly larger model and fill the gap between Ypsilon and the "Medea"(??) with a Stilo/147-sized car.
