Lancia Fulvia boot holes

Hello everybody.
I am a (new) owner of a 1972 Fulvia 1.3s. Checking the car, I noticed 3 round holes in the boot that are open to the inner wheel arch. It doesn't look like rust, in the other side there are round marks on the metal on the same place. Was there supposed to be something bolted there?

Never seen such holes.

Look at your carbs. Where they converted to LPG?

I don’t know how to check that! and I don’t know much about it’s history, just got it this month…
But it is running well enough with petrol, and I can’t see any adaptations… nor extra gauges…
Is the spare wheel usually fixed anywhere?
Mine was missing.

It is the area where someone might fit a high power radio, if the car had ever been owned by a member of the emergency services or a radio enthusiast! Any holes in the wing above or the floor below?

Well, it has the antenna on the other side…
I guess I will never find out!
I do have other doubts though! I have this switch at the front that apparently does nothing now… anyone with an idea of what it might be for?
