I had my eyes on this model for some years, and now it seems that I found one..
It was sold from new in Switzerland, then imported to France and was last driven in 1975, where it was parked in a dry garage..
It is very original, has never been welded or resprayed and overall very complete, even got the factory jack and toolkit..
It will take some years to get it back to what is once was, but I allready made a plan with my prefered workshop, and I’m confident it will turn out to be a very nice car again.
I have a ton of questions, I hope you will help me, when times come..

Re: My first Lancia - Flaminia GTL 3C
A quick update regarding the progress on my Flaminia..
I hooked up with Simon Vietze, and he did my gauges, switches and carburettors, a really nice job he did, and I'm going to use his services for some of the other parts.
He is also a archive of knowledge on these cars, and it can't be neclegted.
A more seriuos matters are that I had to cancel my deal with the workshop that was supossed to rebuild my car.
I have had a bad sense of feeling with them, and I pulled the plug.
That leaves me in a pretty tight situation and I have to contract with a wide range of worshops, that specialize in their field of work, of corse it will leave me with more work keeping track of things.
So I need a good shop that can rebuild my engine, so please give me a shout if you know the right place.
I will also need some help with the amount of conolly hides I need for the seats and how many sq meters of Wilton Wool carpert needed for the floors?

Re: My first Lancia - Flaminia GTL 3C
Engine returned from the workshop who I cancelled further engagement with, and allready noticed some parts missing, the front cranckdamper and fuel overflow pipes, are not there?
I asked the workshop to look and otherwise find new ones?!
I'm still surprised how easy things are to clean up..
One of the rear brakes I cleaned up and the factory yellow markings and red "Turin" was visible..
The Dunlop calipers are going to be replaced with those in Aluminum..
Another example, are the engine rubber mounts, look at the differnce before and after 5 min. in my AquaKnife...

The radiator and oilcooler are going to be restored, or the radiator will and the oilcooler will be cleaned and pressure testet.
The radiator will be taken appart and a new and more modern core will be installed, that will increase the cooling capacity with up to 30%.
