Oil cooler - which hose goes where?

Hi, I have looked on the workshop manual and parts book, but it is not clear which oil cooler hose goes where from the oil filter housing to the oil cooler. Which of the hoses in the attached picture goes to the top of the oil cooler?

I am in France, happy owner of a 13 S first serie for over 20 years
The hoses are "up to up" and "low to low" from oil filter base to oil cooler
I had to renew these hoses in the years 1985 -90 from a professionnal shop, and had placed an unwashable mark on one of them. Still in place.
Looking on the technical data base (tav 20B) there is no specification so may be there is no need to take care in what sense the oil flow crosses the cooler ?
I has no problem with oil temp along thousands of km...
