I need to get new valve guides fitted to my 16v (non turbo) and was wondering if anyone in the UK could recommend a garage for this job?

Some ballpark figure for the job would be useful too.

I believe there is a garage in Glasgow. Alan Muir motor engineers that could do the job......

I've heard about that garage from other sources and was told that they were a bunch of Cowboys.

Indeed, one customer had to wait 7 months without a car, whilst they did a simple head gasket repair.
