Magnesium-Klappe bleibt nicht zu

Hallo,

Bei meinem Thesis bleibt die Magnesium-Klappe in der Mittelkonsole nicht mehr zu.

Habe das auch schon bei dem ein oder anderen Thesis auf den üblichen Verkaufsplattformen gesehen.

Weiß hier jemand, wie man das wieder beheben kann?

This is a problem for many Thesis. There is a small plastic clip that keeps the shutter closed. Often by removing the front of the console, the clip falls and you do not notice it. Hopefully the clip fell into the console, there it is enough to put it back. Otherwise, I don't know of a solution.

thanks for your tip.

It worked when I bought the car. Since then the console was not removed. The pin is still in place, I can see it when I try to close.

Hello Klaus,

Maybe the clip is not in the right position. On my Thésis, by removing the front of the console, I found the clip which had fallen and the shutter had not closed for several years. I put it back in its place and since the shutter closes properly. Not very important, but I am happy of course.

Hi,

Not very difficult but of course need to be carefull.
Below a link to the Lancia Thesis Club de France with a video showing how to remove the NIT Connect. You just need to execute the beginning of the procedure, except if you want to remove the complete NIT.

In few words.
There are six screws to remove, you just need a usual screw driver.
Extract the piece of "wood" at the top of the dashboad (running from the left to the right sides), no tool : just taking it of. Need attention, but easy to do
Then, you wiil see the two screws at the top of the facade
Open the ashtray, remove the two screws fixing the ashtray. Then you will discover the two other screws fixing the facade at the bottom.
There are two connectors behind the facade (a black and a blue one). Then the facade will be free.

regarding your English I would say we meet on the same Level 😏

Thanks for your description and the video, this was very helpfull. As I thought before, the clip itself is still in place, but the small nipple on the clip, that in the end keeps the shutter closed, is broken. A spare part, worth a few Cents, but I bet It will be hard to get.

Did anyone tried to get this before?

Nochmal an alle, die nicht so gerne Englisch lesen. Es geht bei der Magnesium-Klappe um einen gebrochenen Nippel an dem weißen Clip oben in der Mitte der Klappe. Weiß jemand, ob man diesen Clip evtl. als Ersatzteil über Fiat beziehen kann?

vor ein paar Jahren gab es das Teil für 4 Euro beim Händler. Ob das heute noch geht, weiss ich allerdings nicht.
