Thanks for your help. Hopefully I will get the car running this weekend after a two year ground up restoration.

Hello Brian,
Actually I'm traveling then I can not take any pics. In any case I confirm that my car is in the same situation as shown in the pictures posted by Hubert. The only difference is that the connection between engine and subframe was done using a wire instead of a braid.
As written you can also evaluate to connect the battery to the bellhouse and the bellhouse to the chassis and to the subframe as Lancia do on the later car.

Hello Brian, here attached you have a picture of the braid in my car; as you can see I preferredt to connect the battery directly to the bellhouse instead to the chassis (as perhaps was in origin) because of the huge inrush current that occurs during the engine start.
