Lambda 3.9.1 Crown Wheel and Pinionsthe 70's

Unread post by Ross Keeling »

We are currently taking orders for new sprial beval 12-47 3.9.1 ratio crown wheel and pinions. They will be made to the same spec as the ones we made in 1970's as I have managed to locate one of the batch made.

I have currently got 11 orders at a price of £448.50. If I can boost this to 15-16 the price will drop to £396.75. Delivery will be approx 14-20 weeks and I will need a 30% deposit to secure the orders.

If you need any more information, please drop me a line and we can also arrange world wide shipping at cost.

My late grandfather, Arthur Keeling, was a Lancia fan owning several cars. One now resides in a private collection in Italy. My father, Les Keeling, also owns a Lambda which is why I am making up the crown wheel and pinion sets as we need one for this car.

Well done (or about to be).

Could you let us know how this goes? Perhaps there are other things to be made....

Best of luck.

Very interesting.
Got more specifications?
Will it fit on my eight/nineth series Torpedo?

Hi
As far as I know yes it should fit but the best person to ask would be John Turner, I will get in touch with John and ask.
The pinion will be made to the same spec as the original but with 12 teeth and the same goes fro the crown wheel but with 47 teeth both spiral bevel to keep the noise down.
If any one is interested please contact me via email rosskeeling@btinternet.com. The sets are £396.75 and a £200 deposit will be required to confirm the order.

Hi
I have spoken to my father abd he has told me that the crown wheel and pinion will fit a eighth or ninth series car.

I am interested in acquiring a 3.9 to 1 CW & P. Are there any still available. I do have a 3.5 to 1 available for exchange. It has done around 3000 kms.
