Appia Convertible Chrome mouldings

Unread post by Jean de Barsy »

I'm looking for the chrome strips that run on the upper sides of the Appia Convertible (front fender, door and rear fender).
I have on or two sections, but the rest is missing.
These upper mouldings are chromed and square in section (hollow). The lower ones, which are not missing, and are all aluminium.

There's a company (Portugal?) that makes new bumpers for the Flaminia, Appia, Flavia... does anyone know how to get in touch with them?
Maybe they can rmake some copies?

Kind regards, Jean.

good luck finding those trim pieces. i've been on the lookout for some original pieces for years. i have finally come to the opinion that i'll just have to make them myself. i thought the upper ones were stainless steel. they seem fairly straightforward to reproduce. same for the lower aluminum pieces, simple cross section. i'm not ready to mount those on my car yet, but hopefully i will be soon, and then i will be looking at them more closely.
