Who did Lancia partner with to develop 4WD for the Delta 4WD /Integrale

As Lancia had no experience with 4WD prior to the development of the Delta 4WD they sought help from outside the company . Depending on which book you read you get a different and generally very brief answer.

The candidates are

1.Abarth (IT)
2.Hewland (UK)
3.Ferguson(UK)
4.Steyr (AUSTRIA)
5.Italdesign (IT)

I am hoping someone can help give some clarity to this question or make suggestions as to where to go looking.
