Our travel to Austria was a nice event with sunny weather and we were back home before this snow came and destroyed the harvests of this year.
The deadline for our next meeting end of May is over. But it is possible to book our autumn meeting. We have changed the place to Augsburg which is situated a little bit northwest of Munich. Although the motto is: "Lancia Thema meets SAAB 9000" you can join us also with another Lancia.
I thought the spareparts situation for Lancia is very difficult and it was a surprise that SAAB spareparts are available without problems although the (real) SAAB company does not exist anymore. There are many similar parts because the Thema, the 9000 and the Croma were a coproduction. Another surprise: as SAAB part it is much more cheaper than as Lancia part. I guess they have made a normal calculation and they have no reason to force customers to put their cars into the shredder. It seems the FCA politics tries to destroy our hobby and they are silly enough to think, we say thank you and buy new cars from them. So it can be interesting to compare SAAB 9000 with Thema/Croma and find out which parts are the same.
