Switches

Unread post by phill »

Hi,
I've just bought a Fulvia 3 Monte-Carlo. Can someone help me out identifying the switches please. One either side of the clock, one either side of the air vent and 2 down on the left below the steering wheel. I don't know if all of these switches are standard equipment for this model. Would it have the same switches as a normal Fulvia 3?

Many thanks,
Phil

To the left of the clock is the rear window defog. Next to the vent are front and rear foglights.
The other three are not original, at least they're not present in my Fulvia Montecarlo.

Oh, and one addition. In a Montecarlo, the clock face, like the instruments, should be black, not white like in the normal Fulvia 3.

Many thanks Bernt - I'll have a better look at the others and follow the wiring.

Looks like the clock has been replaced at some stage then.

Hi Bernt - rear foglight? My car doesn't seem to have one. I have seen photos of some cars with a single rear fog light set in the middle - would this have been original equipment?

Many thanks,
Phil

The black fog light in the middle of the rear bumper is original Lancia. The rear bumper is different from the standard bumper.

I've had a closer look now. There is no bumper on the Monte-Carlo but there is a hole in the rear valence with 2 fixing holes in the rear cross member.. Any idea where I might get a rear fog lamp? Is it the same one as on other models?

Many thanks,
Phil

Looking at all the photos I can find of Monte-Carlos it seems that most do not have a fog lamp in this hole!
