original painting color ?

Unread post by georges2 »

Hi everybody
Until now I never give attention to a small label in the trap of the glovebox in my S1 Fulvia
It indicates the car have been painted in a Max Meyer lacker, number probably 9 343 3003
Is this label original ? and how can I find what was the original painting ?
Thanks for any idea and help

i looked at all the max meyer charts i could find with no luck. not surprising though, the max meyer color chart numbers are hard to follow. the only 3003 suffix color referred to a beige color.
but in order to really get a good result to your question we should know what year and model of car we're talking about.that will help to narrow the results.
