Strange shifting problem

Unread post by mariocart75 »

I was recently going to go to a Cars and Coffee event near me. I had a hard time putting the Fulvia in gear but finally went. I stopped at a red light, and when the light turned green, it would not go into any gear. I shut off the engine and I had absolutely no problem shifting, but when I turned the engine back on, it wouldn't shift. My Lancia guy told me to send him photos and videos of the clutch cable, which I have attached here.
We discussed the problem and most likely determined the cable itself is fine; other possibilities thrown out were the flywheel and pressure plate.

What do you much more knowledgeable Fulvia people feel might be the problem?

How is your feeling if you push the clutch pedal.
Soft or with resistence

I suspect that the clutch no longer separates. The shift fork of the release bearing is attached to the shaft with a screw.
Think that this screw is broken.
Had already found this once so.
