Bonnet Prop Bracket

Our Series 1 Coupe has this tube welded to the inner wing to support the bonnet prop (See attache photo) and we would like to replace it with the correct pressing.

Does anyone have this pressing on an old shell that they would sell?

Thanks

Solex carbs

I am not very familiar with Solex carbs and wondered if there are any good articles explaing the differences between PHH, DDH and DDHF type carbs.

I have looked on the web but had no success.

I have found some 40DDH cabs for sale but don't know how they would compare to 40DDHFs

Thanks

Re: Supplementary Fuel Tanks

William, Thank you for this information about the fuel tanks. As you may have seen we have an 85 litre tank but want to make the smaller tank with the raised fuel filler flap. Re: Restoring a 1.2 Coupe

My customer wants a 1.2HF Replica, hence the decision - he who pays is the boss, but I do understand your comments. the car was, I believe, originally a Slate Grey colour. Once the paint is stripped we will put it onto one of our jigs before we start the corrosion repairs. It will be interetsing to ...

We have a set of fibreglass 1.3HF Wheel Arches that are no longer needed.

They are not perfect but useable.
