Re: Fulvia Coupe trunk lock mechanism

Thanks for the pictures, I will try to compare them later.

Basically, it was a summing up of messing around in the past, probably by more than one owner trying to fix the lock. The conclusion is the key mechanism if broken, but the push button is now back in order by the flat screw that I have made.

Re: Fulvia Coupe trunk lock mechanism

Well, I've got a bit further on this and thought I'd share it with you. It is a bit complicated to explain and can imagine not many went here before... As I found out, the centre of the lock where the key is inserted in the lock cylinder is in fact the part that turns and trough the spring inside it...

Fulvia Coupe trunk lock mechanism

Hi all, I am struggling with refitting my trunk lock mechanism as seen on the attached photos. It has been off the car for some time. When putting it in place I am able to open the trunk lock by pressing the lock button, whenever turning the cilinder in with the key, it runs out of its case. Somehow...

Ignition timing point

Hi, Just wanted to check what the correct flywheel position is to line up with the 1/4 mark on the flywheel housing. With contact finger pointing to the oil filter: 8 > 1/4 is TDC and the position from where your time the distributor position with the timing bulb, am I correct or should it be 0 > 1/...

Proper jack points on Fulvia sils/frame

I am sure this has been written somewhere but I cannot find it anymore.

What are the proper jacks point for a Fulvia when lifting the car on a 2-column car lift? Does it need to be on the sills on both columns or one on the rear of the sub frame and one on the sills near the rear wheels?
