Geoff, its probably not very helpful, but i found the balance factor for the VW engine which has the 15 degree V; its 30%, seems a lot different to the figures quoted....thought i would mention it due to the variance, Bryan

No luck with the balance factor, although i do have one more avenue to explore, i will let you know if i get a result. I think the seperation of the components looks like the most likely outcome. I have some new pistons as well, which are 65 G lighter than the OE, so some careful attention will need...

axle weight
Hello all, can anyone give a definative answer as to the weight difference, between a series 1, and series 2 rear axle? I seem to think the seies 1 is lighter by some margin, many thanks, Bryan
