Well, thanks a lot for your input. I guess that was misled me was the first document that didn't mention anything about the level shifting for the CSYNC signal, so I thought it wasn't needed as long as the input was a RGB NTSC signal.

Hi, First of all, sorry for not writing this message in Italian, since I can read it but can't write it at all. I just built a SCART to 13-Pin DIN cable to enable the video input in the ICS non-navi by Grundig. This cable is pin to pin, there is no additional electronics to pull up the CSYNC signal....
