Re: S2 front suspension buffers
Good idea to check the LH side for vibration. Might be tyres, CVJ's (inner and outer), hubs (if driving too long with a bad bearing, it may overheat and destroy the ring inside the hub, play on wheel bearing. brake rotors.

Re: S2 front suspension buffers
Rubber (and springs including leaf springs) can be used elastically or plastically. If used within the elasticity limit it will return to its original form. Plastically is if the elasticity limit is exceeded. The rubber will be deformed permanently. Those rubbers have always been an enigma for me. G...

Re: Fulvia 3 Coupe, Veglia vs Jaeger Gauges
Hi Jan
Good of you to notice. I did not know any better or al Fulvia 3 have Veglia. I just checked the parts book. It looks like it is all well documented.

Re: S1 Gearbox 4 speed problem - Third gear jump
Oops. You absolutely need 3 in each flange. Loosing one is normal when you dismantle a Lancia gearbox for the first few times. What you can do is follow the system of the series 2. Use circlips:
Nice book. Which book is that?

Re: Silent blocks
Daarvoor geb...

Re: Ignition coil
Yes. Get rid of the glass jar thingy. Put the Filter King in its place. You may have to unscrew both halves and rotate 180 degrees to get in- and output in the right place. Put a plastic throw away filter before the pump like the one you have now. The one you have looks dirty. Put a new one and put ...

Re: Ignition coil
I can just read the VIN. Your car is a 818.330. The model is Rallye 1.3 without S. It did originally not have a filter nor pressure regulator. The Rallye 1.3S had newer generation carbs requiring 0,2 bar fuel pressure. The Rallye 1.3S was introduced late 1968. Only 152 pcs were produced in 1968. The...

Re: Ignition coil
Dellorto's are very sensitive to fuel pressure. Early Solexes need 0,3 bar which is the pressure the original fuel pumps deliver. From the Rallye 1.3S the carbs need 0,2 bar. They are fitted with a pressure regulator. Current aftermarket fuel pumps deliver 0,4 bar. The Dellorto DHLB35 needs a pressu...

Re: Silent blocks

Re: Ignition coil
Hi Jesse, The Beru one in the link looks ok. Made in Germany. Good. I would buy two and keep one in stock. The blue Bosch is epoxy cooled as far as I know. It is definitely not the original one. Original would be Marelli or Klitz. Oil cooled ones have to be mounted upright. Epoxy cooled ones can be ...
