Radiator colour S1 Sport
Please can somebody tell me what the original colour of the radiator should be. I have had a new core built in and the supplier (bijle radiators in Haarlem, supper service) painted it in black, not matt black but close to it. The original looked like it was probably more shiny.

Thanks Huib and yes, I would be very happy to bring it to you to get a working cylinder. I will be out of NL for a week so I will phone you when I get back to fix an appointment. regards

Fulvia S1 Sport 1.3S brake master cylinder
I had a thread on the problem with spongy brakes, which disappeared from the forum so I will follow on with this post. Having taken everything apart and replaced all seals, cups, flexible pipes I still have a soft pedal and begin to suspect the master cylinder even though it's only 5 years old. It's...

Re: Matador Mirror Parts/Questions
Hi Graham, In preparation for a re-chrome of my mirror I bought a used one in Italy and mounted it on the car. I haven't got round to finishing the job so I could dismantle mine and send you some pictures to help you understand what it looks like. I hope mine is not the same as yours when I open it.

Re: Fuel check valve
Looks like there is also a plus from initial cranking and it hasn't got any worse in the last 31 years so I guess it will go on a bit longer ! Thanks Huib.

Re: Fuel check valve
Looked more carefully at my car and it does have the standard Fisca filter/regulator after the pump. I also found the description on the Fulvia CDs after a long search. As everything is working fine apart from the starting after a long stand I think I will leave it alone until more pressing work is ...

Re: Fuel check valve
Hi Huib, Many thanks for your detailed reply. I have no plan to add an electric pump because I don't like the idea, but I thought the valve would be a simple modification which can be easily reversed. The idea of an outboard motor type of solution is a novel idea, but I guess the starting point is t...

Fuel check valve
For years now I have been tolerating the slow starting after my car has stood unused for a few days or more, although it does always start, eventually. I've done some research on the forum and on-line and the majority of solutions appear to involve mounting an additional electric fuel pump.I was sur...
